Feeling Blue

Just sat down at my home computer (5 months old system) and reading email when I get the dreaded, BSOD. Yup, the blue screen of death. WHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

5 hours on the phone with HP and a very helpful technician who had me running more diagnostics then a user ever should... with the offending blue screen culprit being either a crashed hard drive or a Windows 7 corruption.  Not sure which I hate worse, but right now, I hoping it is just a  Windows 7 corruption.  I back up my work but I hate having to deal with a dead hard drive.

So, I'm trying to feel the color blue in a more positive way.  A blue moon, especially over water is very healing.

My favorite black whole is actually a blue hole. These are found all over reef areas but most commonly in the Bahamas islands chain. These cobalt blue holes are are easily seen from the air and a boat and are deep holes in the ocean floor, that is why they appear the rich cobalt blue you see.

Spinning up and working in blue wool always cheers me up.  I may have to sit at my wheel tonight and do a little spinning since I've spun my nerd wheels all night long with nothing to show for it.

Maybe I'll just say to hell with it all and go jump in the blue waters of the sea.  This always makes me feel better. Wishing everyone a good blue day but no blue screen of death. Sea Witch

Look at you trying to see the positive in a (for me) paralyzing situation. I HATE computer meltdowns. I'm always so stupid when the assitant person tries to lead me through the repairs. UGH! You have the right attitude, sweet sea witch.

Ouch!! I dread ever seeing that screen. I worry about it because I've experienced hard drive crash in the past. Lost everything.
I will hope, along with you, that your problem is only the corruption. You are very smart to back up!!
Have a good "blue" day.

Beautiful blog.
We have been dealing with the blue screen of death here as well. Computers are great until they crash!
Have a wonderful weekend ~

I do hope all turns out well, your therapy sounds like it could work.

Hi Sea Witch-

Oh, I hope you have a healthy computer by now! I've only worked with Macs and have only lost everything once (at work, so things were luckily backed up!) But I do love all your beautiful and less dreaded blues, espedially that beautiful blue yarn. Good luck.
