They do not provide food or shelter that we may live. Why then do we "need this?" Because they make our lives worth living with the joy of the hunt, the successful acquisition, and most of all...the history, the beauty, and the energy these pieces bring from another time and place. - Sea Witch on antiques

What a lovely thought and photo. When we lived in Utah I was our lavender grew really well. Not so much down here in Mississippi.
Lavender always reminds me of my Mom. She used to keep sachets in her clothing drawers. I have a few of her hankies that still carry the scent.
Have a beautiful weekend.
Isn't it funny how lavender reminds so many of us of our mothers? My mom has always loved that color, that scent.
Photographs of fields of lavender are so beautiful and welcoming. I would love to see a real field ~ I think I would look at it all day.
Wishing you lavender filled days.

That would be an awesome sight to see! Lavender is supposed to help you sleep. They make lavender sprays for your bed linens. Sweet dreams!

That is a gorgeous pic--I can almost smell all that lavender!
