I interrupt this blog to announce

the birth of my two newest grandchildren. Yes, the twins have arrived to my son and his lovely wife, Kerry and sweet daughter Kaitlyn. Connor (middle name still not decided), 6 pounds 13 ounces and Kelsey Elizabeth, 7 pounds, this morning at 6:47 am. Mother is doing wonderfully and has already nursed them both. Pictures should come soon...or as soon as my son will stop grinning and strutting like a proud peacock and can stop to send them to me as jpgs from Italy.

If you haven't noticed, I have changed out my header to reflect their birth and the change from costumes for grandchild to costumes for grandchildren. Oh how I wish I was closer to them right now. I would love to see my newest grandchildren and hug my sweet granddaughter, Kit Kat.

Gotta finish the princess costume for Kit Kat and now have to plan for designing three at a time going forward. The Delirious with Joy Sea Witch

I just happened to get online quickly and saw the news. Congrats to you and your family. I'm so glad everyone is doing well.
Now, You'll just have to go to Italy!

I'll be back later to read the posts I have missed. You miss a day, you miss so much.

Again, congrats!

Congrats Witch!! As a fellow grandmother who misses her grandchildren SO MUCH, I know exactly how you feel. But, mine are close enough that I can see them more often--thank goodness for that!!There is nothing sweeter than the kisses of a grandchild!!

When you posted the other day about the twins, I didn't realize their birth was going to be THIS soon! They were "nice size" for twins, weren't they?? Glad to hear that Mama is doing well AND grandmama is too!

Wow twins, Congrats my dear friend. I'm so happy for you! My second grand child will be born by c-section this Thursday. Grand babies are the greatest gifts! So glad every one is healthy. We have so much in common!

Congrats gramma! Two....twice as much loving and snuggling. Lucky you!

I like the new header, its brighter, not so somber. Perfect for this joyful occasion. My kids are done.......two grandkids here for me. Sigh. But Im not done being gramma so I guess I have to wait for the next generation.
